Atal Tinkering Labs
Atal Tinkering Lab – as part of Atal Innovation Mission, is an initiative of NITI Ayog, Government of India with a vision to ‘Cultivate one Million children in India as Neoteric Innovators’. The objective of this scheme is to foster curiosity, creativity, and imagination in young minds; and inculcate skills such as design mindset, computational thinking, adaptive learning, physical computing etc.
UNISED under mentorship of IIT Kanpur has established 136 Rashtriya Avishkar Labs in line with Atal Tinkering Labs in Government Schools of NCT of Delhi. Apart from this UNISED has established 10 ATLs – 5 in Government schools of Assam and 5 in Government schools of Madhya Pradesh.
