Solar Energy Operated Smart Classes is a project to support the National Innovation Programme under the Samagra Shiksha by Government of India and State/UT Governments in the light of the National Education Policy-2020. The interventions under this national initiative aim to enable children to become motivated and engaged in Science, Mathematics and Technology (SMT) through observation, experimentation, inference drawing, model building, rational reasoning and testability.  The programme provides several facilities such as low cost solar power operated smart class, hands-on teachers training & capacity building workshop, science & mathematics kits rich environment, Activity books, reading materials and many other innovative resources. Smart classroom aims at developing the students learning ability as the entire chapters become more interesting to study and hence improve the results of the students.
